Two Merlin Medals are used to evolve a 2★ Medal to 3★.
You can obtain Merlin Medals by completing the 2★ Evolve Medals quest in the ★-3★ Evolve Medals series of Special Quests on Fridays or by beating Guard Armor or Guard Armor Ω Raid Bosses.
Merlin Medals can also be obtained by defeating Pretenders in Quest 108 and Quest 158 (more chances).
