Quest 923 takes place in Candy Kingdom.

Story summary edit

The Player finds Vanellope with her kart, but Heartless attack. Ralph helps The Player defeat them, but Vanellope's kart is broken due to the attack. In order to get back his medal, Ralph reluctantly agrees to help Vanellope get a new kart.

Script edit

Before quest

[The Player enters the Junkyard and finds Vanellope with a kart.]

Vanellope: "Hey, it's you! Thanks for helping me out back there."

[Ralph approaches.]

Ralph: "I got to get my medal back."

[Ralph spots Vanellope and hides behind some trees.]

Ralph: "It's that little crumb snatcher."
Ralph: "And her friend who keeps gettin' in the way."
Vanellope: "Well, how does it look? Built it myself."
Vanellope: "Fastest pedal power west of the pinball machine. Check her out."
Vanellope: "No way! I'm not going with you! I'm in the race!"
Vanellope: "I paid the entry fee, and I'm n the roster."
Vanellope: "I'm gonna be in that race!"

[A group of Flappy Bugs appear and start attacking Vanellope.]

Vanellope: "Stop! No!"
Ralph: "Hey! Leave her alone!"

[Ralph comes rushing to Vanellope's aid, and together with The Player fights the Heartless.]

After quest

[The Player defeats the Heartless, but they had already broken Vanellope's kart. She walks to the remains of her kart and picks up a piece.]

Vanellope: "What are you looking at?"
Ralph: "You're welcome, you rotten little thief."
Vanellope: "I'm not a thief! I just borrowed your stupid coin. I was gonna give it back to you as soon as I won the race."
Ralph: "It's not a coin. It is a medal."
Vanellope: "Coin, medal, whatever. Just go back to your own dumb game and win another one."
Ralph: "I can't. I didn't win it in my game. I won it in Hero's Duty."
Ralph: "I earned that medal, and you better get it back for me toot-sweet, sister!"
Vanellope: "Well, unless you've got a go-kart hidden in the fat folds of your neck, I can't help you!"
Vanellope: "Look, you want that medal, right? And I wanna race. So here's what I'm thinking. You help me get a new kart—a real kart—and I'll win the race and get you back your medal."
Ralph: "You want me to help you?"
Vanellope: "Yeah, I already have one volunteer, but I could really use another one."
Vanellope: "Come on, what do you say, friend?"
Ralph: "We are not friends."
Vanellope: "Ah, come on, pal. Come on, buddy. Let's shake on it."
Vanellope: "Come on, chumbo. Ralph, my man—my main man."
Vanellope: "Hey! My arm's getting tired. We have a deal or not?"
Ralph: "You better win."
Vanellope: "Yes! Next stop—the kart bakery!"
