Quest 940 takes place in Candy Kingdom.

Story summary edit

The Player and Chirithy come to the conclusion that Ralph isn't a bad guy. They decide to talk to Vanellope to try to find out who causes the glitches. Meanwhile, Felix gets locked up by Sour Bill.

Lauriam dreams about Strelitzia before waking up after the battle with Maleficent.

Chirithy: "Yeah. I'm starting to think Ralph just plays the part of a bad guy, too."
Chirithy: "He's not a BAD guy. That much is obvious from his actions."
Chirithy: "Which means..."
Chirithy: "We still have no idea where the glitches are coming from. But I'm certain that Heartless has something to do with it."
Chirithy: "Hmmm..."
Chirithy: "What is it?"

[The Player thinks back to Vanellope glitching.]

Chirithy: "That's it!"
Chirithy: "You're right. We shouldn't jump to conclusions, or we might miss something important. Again."
Chirithy: "Let's go talk to Vanellope!"

[Felix approaches King Candy's castle.]

Felix: "Jiminey-jaminey..."
Felix: "What did I do wrong?"

[He knocks on the door, and Sour Bill opens.]

Sour Bill: "Mmm-yes?"
Felix: "Oh, I'm Fix-it Felix, Jr., sir, from the game Fix-it Felix Jr. Have you seen my friend, Ralph?"
Sour Bill: "Wreck-It Ralph?"
Felix: "Yes. Yes, that's him!"
Sour Bill: "Should've locked him up when we had the chance."
Felix: "Locked him up?"
Sour Bill: "Not making the same mistake with you."

[The floor beneath Felix opens, and he falls in.]

[The scene shifts to Lauriam, lying in a field of flowers.]

???: "Lauriam."
???: "Lauriam."

[Strelitzia walks up to him.]

Strelitzia: "I knew you'd be here."

[Lauriam sits up.]

Strelitzia: "Taking a break?"
Lauriam: "Actually, I'm done collecting my Lux for the day."
Strelitzia: "But it's only noon."
Lauriam: "I know, but I finished a while ago. Taking down monsters is easy."
Lauriam: "What's that look for?"
Strelitzia: "Oh, I didn't realize I was— It's just— I-I don't know how you do it! You're so amazing!"
Lauriam: "Thanks."

[Strelitzia sits down next to Lauriam.]

Strelitzia: "Me, on the other hand, I spent the whole day getting chased around by them..."
Lauriam: "You know your magic is stronger than mine. Stay calm and focused, and you'll be done in no time."
Strelitzia: "I know, but it's hard. Can't we pair up? You take the front, I'll take the back?"
Lauriam: "We could, but that won't help you in the long run. Maybe when you get strong enough to protect me. Then we'll pair up, and you can carry me through battle."
Strelitzia: "That sounds impossible..."
Lauriam: "Oh, I've been meaning to ask: Have you decided to join the Dandelions?"
Strelitzia: "I'm not sure yet."
Lauriam: "What's holding you back?"
Strelitzia: "Well, I like the people I'm with now. Besides—"
Lauriam: "Yeah?"
Strelitzia: "There's someone I wanna get to know. And if they're not a Dandelion, I might never get the chance."
Lauriam: "Does someone have a crush?"
Strelitzia: "No, no, no, no! It's nothing like that!"
Lauriam: "Stay calm, focus, be brave."
Strelitzia: "Stop it, Lauriam! It's not like that, I swear!"
Lauriam: "Okay, okay."
Lauriam: "You make everyone's lives so much brighter. People need that; they need your power. Believe in yourself."
Strelitzia: "Well, I-I don't know about that... Wait, you're not just saying that, are you?"

[Lauriam stands up.]

Lauriam: "Not at all. In fact, you just worked that power of yours on me. Things were feeling dull, but now I'm looking forward to what's in store for tomorrow."
Strelitzia: "Then let's pair—"
Lauriam: "Nope."
Lauriam: "But I will come running if you're ever in trouble."
Strelitzia: "No."
Lauriam: "Huh?"
Strelitzia: "You told me what I need to do, so that's what I'll do. I WILL get stronger. I WILL carry you one day."
Lauriam: "I like the sound of that."

[A gust of wind blows flower petals in the air. When Lauriam looks back, Strelitzia is gone.]

Lauriam: "What!?"
Lauriam: "Strelitzia!"
Lauriam: "Strelitzia!"
???: "Lauriam."

[A figure in a white coat appeared.]

Lauriam: "Strelitzia...?"
???: "Lauriam, I..."

[The figure starts floating up.]

[Lauriam wakes up, lying on the ground near the damaged lifeboat.]

Lauriam: "Strelitzia..."

[Lauriam slowly sits up.]

Lauriam: "I was—I was fighting, and..."

[Lauriam stands up, and slowly takes a few steps, struggling from the pain.]

Lauriam: "She's gone..."

[Lauriam keeps moving forward while in pain, until he can rest against the wall.]

Lauriam: "Strelitzia... I..."
