Date added is essentially the same thing, and is non-obvious to readers trying to look up a medal. With album order, they can easily figure out what the gaps in their album are. Date added is going to continuously become an irrelevant ID each time new medals are added. Furthermore, it's barely even different except when dealing with event medals.204.11.142.106 10:56, 30 August 2016 (PDT)

True, but for the Jungle Book event and Illustrated Aerith, they were added later then the ones after them in the Album, and since the navbox separates per month, what do we do when one of those medals is released in a different month? TheSilentHero 10:59, 30 August 2016 (PDT)
Yes, the Jungle Book Event! was added later than the last Epic Medal Carnival!, but Illustrated Aerith was released the same time as the current Epic Medal Carnival!. It's just that no one edited the page for some reason and I had to do it. I still believe it's better to sort it by album number but the monthly separation does pose a problem. Okay then, we sort the medals by date added when they're released on different dates. If they're released on the same day, we follow the album number. Is that alright? My mistake on the Illustrated Aerith. I thought it was released later. TheSilentHero 14:33, 30 August 2016 (PDT)
For sorting by month, we don't note that by when the medals can first be obtained, but by when the slots are added (the medal's code is added to game). Doing it by "first obtainment" would require way more historical records than we have the ability to get.204.11.142.106 07:50, 31 August 2016 (PDT)
You'd be surprised as to what can be found. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1g0I8GRF57YOyyrQBCICdCdVJNXXpRJqKpd_pG3CnBGI/edit#gid=0 Does have dates for all medals point of first obtainability. There is a version of this list using the Japanese album, but it is not quite up to date and does lack dates for event medals, however it shouldn't be too hard to research the dates of said events.
