A New Keyblade: Moogle O' Glory in Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ is the first quest of of the Get the Moogle O' Glory and level it up, Kupo! series of Special Quests. After completing this quest the player receives the Moogle O' Glory Keyblade.

Story summary

During their search of the "key", Donald, Goofy, Chip and Dale once again crash in Daybreak Town with their gummi ship.

Script

Before quest

[A shooting star falls across the sky above Daybreak Town, the gummi ship crashes in Waterfront Park. Donald and Goofy inspecting the damage when Chip appears on deck.]

• Chip: "And this is why you shouldn't touch anything while we're working!"

[Dale exists the ship.]

• Dale: "That sure is a lotta smoke!"
• Donald: "Oh great..."
• Goofy: "Isn't there anything we can do?"

[Goofy moves towards the Gummi Ship to check it out but stops when Chip scolds him.]

• Chip: "No, stop!"

[Chip inspect the damage on the ship.]

• Chip: Just leave the repairs to us."
• Dale: "Why don't you take a walk until we're done?"
• Donald: "A walk? That sounds like fun!"
• Goofy: "Well, if you say so. Thanks, fellas!"

[Donald and Goofy proceed to leave the crash site]

• Goofy: "I know!"
• Goofy: "Why don't we look for that thing the King mentioned in his letter?"
• Donald: "You mean the "Key"?"
• Donald: "Good idea!"

[The two head off on their search.
Meanwhile the Moogle is at the Fountain Square with a homemade wooden Keyblade. An explosion goes off in the distance and Donald and Goofy come flying into the plaza, landing on the Moogle. When they gather their senses, they notice the Keyblade the Moogle is holding.]

• Donald & Goofy: "A key!"

[Heartless appear at the square while they're all distracted. The Moogle tries to combat them with his "Keyblade" but it breaks before he lands a single hit.]

• Donald: "Wak!"
• Goofy: "Oh, no!"

[The player appears to rescue everyone and the keychain from the broken Moogle's Keyblade glows and attaches to his/her instead, giving it a new form. After the Heartless have been defeated, everyone gathers around.]

• Goofy: "Ya think this could be the "Key" we're lookin' for?"
• Donald: "I don't know about that..."

[The Moogle rushes forward to confront the player.]

• Moogle: "Now let's not forget who the real hero is here!"
• Moogle: "Me, kupo! I made that glorious weapon!"
• Moogle: "But since I'm so generous, I'll let you have a free trial, kupo."
• Moogle: "You'll see how great my new product is in no time. And the best part is you can make it even stronger, kupo!"
• Moogle: "It'll be so amazing that you probably won't wanna give it back, but you'd better!"
• Moogle: "Good luck, kupo!"

[The Moogle leaves. Donald and Goofy talk among themselves.]

• Goofy: "Hey, why don't we tag along and see what this key can do?"
• Donald: "Hm..."
• Goofy: "The King's countin' on us."
• Donald: "Okay, fine!"
• Goofy: "Hope you don't mind. But you know what they say: the more the merrier! Right?"

[The player nods. Meanwhile the Moogle is in an alleyway, talking to himself.]

• Moogle: "I'm a genius, kupo!"
• Moogle: "Now I can get my hands on a great weapon without doing a thing!"

[The Moogle jumps with joy.]
