Story summary

Vanellope arrives at the racetrack, but the race has been postponed because of the Heartless. The Player takes out the Heartless at the racetrack.

Script

Before quest

[Vanellope pushes her kart to the racetrack. She looks around but sees nobody.]

• Vanellope: "Huh? What happened to the race?"
• King Candy: "My kingdom!"

[King Candy and Sour Bill come running.]

• King Candy: "Are they gone?"
• Sour Bill: "It appears so."
• King Candy: "Well, thank goodness!"
• King Candy: "What were they, anyway? Dark creatures barging into my kingdom uninvited..."
• Sour Bill: "Umm...trouble's not over."
• King Candy: "Vanellope!"
• King Candy: "I knew it! This is all your fault!"
• Vanellope: "What are you talking about? I didn't do anything! ...Wait! What happened to the race?"
• Sour Bill: "Even more trouble."

[Sour Bill points to a group of Heartless approaching.]

• King Candy: "The race can wait!"

[King Candy and Sour Bill flee. The Heartless reach Vanellope.]

• Vanellope: "Hey! You ruined my chance to finally race!"

[The Player comes running and stands between the Heartless and Vanellope.]

• Vanellope: "Actually, maybe he was right. The race can wait."
• Vanellope: "I'm outta here!"

[Vanellope runs away.]
