Medal pages

Just some help with what you're doing:

  • See Wakka for a guideline on how the lead should be written up.
  • Images will need to be moved (see Special:Log/move).
  • Replace the set navboxes with JPSets and NASets templates.

Thanks!KrytenKoro (talk) 16:11, 13 June 2016 (PDT)

Oh, by the way it has the spatk descriptions, too.KrytenKoro (talk) 14:51, 13 June 2016 (PDT)

I've been fixing up the messed up medal pages, and fixed the color too to make it match the specific medal and added correct details to the medals, but I need help placing the medal pictures back unless it does that on its own. Can you guys either show me how or I can email you guys so you can add pictures for those medals? KrytenKoro Rikki21 —Preceding unsigned comment added by One80cigs (talkcontribs)

The way the template currently works, it uses the image based on the NA album id's, but all the images uploaded use the JP album id's. So, we'd have to move the images from the JP ids to the NA id's and use the NA name too. If you look at the move log Kryten provided from above, you can see how we've done it in the past. What I've been doing is clicking on the links usually provided on the medal page (the ones that show the old and new 4★) and then counting up/down from the JP ids, manually going to those pages, and then moving them to the NA ids + name. Or, if the tabber style works from the old layout, I go to each tab and click on each image to move it. -Rikki21 20:27, 13 June 2016 (PDT)
Ok! Thank you! I'm still getting used to editing pages. I want to do my best to helping my favorite game series of all time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by One80cigs (talkcontribs)
For page that have the messed up tabs, delete <div style="float: right"><tabber>, hit "Preview", and it will show all the images. If you've already updated the page's code, you'll need to open the previous revision in the article's history in order to do this.KrytenKoro (talk) 05:18, 14 June 2016 (PDT)

Romanji

Thanks for changing some medal infoboxes! FYI, romanji is the direct transliteration of the name. For instance, Hayner in Japanese is ハイネ --> ハ(Ha) イ(i) ネ(ne) or Haine. On most medal pages, the first sentence has the English name followed by the Japanese and romanji in parenthesis: "Hayner (Japanese: ハイネ Haine) is a..." where the romanji is readily available, so simply copy that. -Rikki21 16:12, 13 June 2016 (PDT)

Small correction, it is spelled "romaji".KrytenKoro (talk) 05:18, 14 June 2016 (PDT)
Also, for Kana, please make sure it matches what is actually displayed in the image.KrytenKoro (talk) 09:04, 14 June 2016 (PDT)
Also also, please use the kana that are on the previous revs of the page.KrytenKoro (talk) 17:04, 14 June 2016 (PDT)
And the romaji that was on the previous rev.KrytenKoro (talk) 17:55, 14 June 2016 (PDT)

Rare

"Rare" is another name for Epic Medals -- the ones that you can get starting at 3* are called "Normal" medals in the NA game.KrytenKoro (talk) 13:52, 14 June 2016 (PDT)

Didn't know that. I thought it was a typo. Thanks, bud. —Preceding unsigned comment added by One80cigs (talkcontribs)

Remember, if it starts at 3*, it's Normal, not Rare.KrytenKoro (talk) 15:39, 14 June 2016 (PDT)

InfoMedal mod

I modified the infomedal template because the attribute icons just wouldn't fit in the attribute cell. The two options I've made are Template:InfoMedal and Template:InfoMedal/Draft. Please give your input on which you prefer here.KrytenKoro (talk) 11:04, 15 June 2016 (PDT)
