Quest 73 takes place in Agrabah.

Story summary

Upon getting back to the city, the guard sees a Fat Bandit and heads to the palace to defend it. He asks The Player's help to guard the city. After defeating the Fat Bandit, the Wily Bandit appears before The Player. Aladdin comes to help The Player, but their attacks are blocked, and the Wily Bandit flees. Aladdin tells The Player that the Wily Bandit took Abu, but refuses The Player's help to find it.

Script

Before quest

• Guard A: "That's the monster from before! I hope I'm not too late. The palace is undefended!"
• Guard A: "I need your help, kid. I gotta make sure the palace is secure. So you stay here and guard the city!"

After quest

[The Wily Bandit appears in front of The Player.]

• Faraway voice: "Hold on!"

[Aladdin comes running to The Player's side.]

• Aladdin: "This one's mine. You with me?"

[The Player nods.]

• Aladdin: "All right, let's let him have it!"

[Aladdin and The Player attack the Wily Bandit simultaneously, but it blocks the attack and vanishes.]

• Aladdin: "No, wait!"
• Aladdin: "I'll find you, Abu. I promise."
• Aladdin: "That monster... It took my best friend."
• Aladdin: "You want to help me get him back?"
• Aladdin: "Thanks, but I have to do this alone. You seem like a good person. Abu wouldn't want you putting yourself in danger to save him."
• Aladdin: "Besides, I don't even know where to start looking."
• Aladdin: "But I promise to find you if I need help, okay?"
• [Search the city for any remaining Heartless.]
